6:00 AM: Departure from Cusco towards the Q’eswachaca Bridge.

9:00 AM: Arrival at the Q’eswachaca Bridge. Located in the province of Canas, this ancient Inca rope bridge is an engineering marvel and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the history and cultural significance of the bridge, which has been rebuilt annually using traditional Inca techniques for over 500 years.

10:30 AM: Participate in the traditional ceremony of rebuilding the bridge, where local communities come together to weave new ropes and repair the structure. Gain hands-on experience and insight into the communal spirit and cultural traditions of the Quechua people.

12:30 PM: Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Q’eswachaca Bridge, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the Apurimac River canyon.

2:00 PM: Explore the surrounding area, taking in panoramic views of the rugged Andean landscape and visiting nearby villages to interact with local communities and artisans.
