Itinerary
8:00 AM: Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to our base camp where the ATVs are prepared.
9:00 AM: After a brief safety instruction and practice session, we start our ATV adventure heading towards the archaeological site of Moray. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the stunning views of the Andean landscape and the snow-capped peaks in the distance.
10:00 AM: Arrival at Moray, a fascinating Inca site known for its impressive circular terraces believed to have been used for agricultural experimentation. Take a guided tour to learn about the significance of this site and its unique microclimates.
11:00 AM: Continue our ATV ride towards the salt mines of Maras. Ride through the charming countryside, passing by traditional Andean villages and enjoying the spectacular scenery.
11:30 AM: Reach the Maras salt mines, a complex network of salt pans that have been in use since Inca times. Discover how the local community harvests salt using ancient methods, and take some time to explore and take photos of this extraordinary landscape.
12:30 PM: Begin the return journey to the base camp, enjoying the thrilling ride and the beautiful vistas.
1:30 PM: Arrival at the base camp. Transfer back to Cusco.
2:00 PM: Drop-off at your hotel in Cusco, concluding our half-day ATV adventure to Maras and Moray.
